Fried

Brain-fried.

Churned out two essays that were due today and I am mentally exhausted. Seriously. It was like after submission my brain went zonked and I spaced out. Saw people playing carom and ping pong (which is highly addictive by the way, even as a spectator) but I was completely…spaced out. Blank. Empty. Bare. Vacuous. Stoned. I’ve met my quota of mental activity for the day.

But I had great fun in the evening with Isk and his friends watching the Back-to-Back plays. It wasn’t too bad. The first play was quite alright, but the second play…hmmm, let’s say there were various cringes and threats to throw shoes about. Both were comedic so the mistakes weren’t so glaring at the end of the day. They were enjoyable and I did have a good laugh. Overall, none too shabby. Or maybe this time I’m just nicer, owing to last year’s “ravag” comments…Hoho!

And I kinda realise I want to try out the theatre scene for a bit, at least before I graduate. I’ve been meaning to, but never got around to it. It would be fun. Maybe I’ll do that this holidays. When else eh?

I also realised one last thing. I’m getting old. I can’t even remember my age. I think i vaguely remember telling one of Isk’s friends that I’m 23 when heeellllooo! I haven’t reached there yet! I’m only 21 for goodness’ sakes. Also I found wrinkles on me. I iz sad. I am hideous brow up, and knee down and I refuse to meet you till I’m fixed. Dammit. I wish I was pretty and hot and then people will just throw flowers at your feet and let you rule a country and give you ice-cream whenever you throw a tantrum. Life would have been perfect.

One more essay to go for the week, and still a truckload of work that needs to be done. But for now, I should head to bed. Gotta rest well, wake up early and get to work. After all, I’ve got to return Isk back to Colin by noon. Yawns. Good night!

ps: OMGOMGOMG!!! *giggles like a schoolgirl* It’s fate, I tell you. Has to be…
