Over. Over. Over.
Submission is done and over with. Yessahh! It has been one painful semester. And I can’t believe it’s over. Well, that and the exams. But we all know that doesn’t matter much. For now, it’s time to breathe again. It seems strangely odd though that there appears to be nothing else to do but wait for the exams. Well, that and studying for those exams. But we all know that doesn’t matter much either.
Submission…it’s amazing that even when you want to give up, throw in the towel, feel absolutely demoralised, you still push yourself through to the finishing line. It seems impossible to commit acadamic suicide, even when you think about it. And believe me, I’ve thought plenty of it this semester. Motivation is hard to maintain. Positivity needs work sometimes. And when you’re demoralised, it’s hard to climb back up. It’s like getting Jack McFarland to go straight again.
People to thank for submission! Nina! For keeping me company during submission on msn with messages at hourly intervals! Fwahaha Adnan for helping a bit and my incredibly incredibly whiny sister. Helmi for the most kental but fun car ride to and fro school! Fwahaha number 2. Bing Hui and Azhar for CADing advice! Yays! Mom for food and water. And letting me mess up the house a bit cos I know you hate that. I luuurvvee you! And of course Victor my tutor for being kind patient and helpful that makes me guilty for being such a difficult student.
I actually do feel worried for this semester. But let’s not think about it for now and be happy. Had a fabulous time today with the girls watching Definitely Maybe. Wasn’t fantastic fantastic but it was a fun movie to watch. Ryan Reynolds is still incredibly good looking. I miss watching Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place actually. Good show that was. Was supposed to have lunch with Chris and Desmond. But turns out I woke up late and made it in time for just the last ten minutes. Tsk. Gotta start getting up early.
It feels odd not having to rush for something. Ah wells. Back to Will and Grace. Loves loves loves the show.
